Many teachers and staff don’t realize they have options.

You can get twice the professional liability coverage for about half the cost. All staff can join a non-union, non-partisan professional association that focuses on local issues, not national partisan politics.

You have choices for professional protection and representation.  The teachers’ union overwhelmingly supports one political party and overcharges you for professional liability insurance and union dues.

We are not affiliated with the AAE or any of the groups we list below but wanted to tell you about your options. AAE offers legal protection, job resources, and classroom grants — all without funding political campaigns or divisive lobbying.  Both teachers and staff can belong to AAE. Do you really want your hard-earned money to fund the National Education Association’s office in downtown DC, or their President’s $500,000 compensation package?

Due to the Janus Supreme Court decision, you can quit the union and retain your pension and benefits. You also have the option to form an independent local union that focuses on bread-and-butter concerns, not national politics.
